    10 YEARS OF INNOVATIONS AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICES
 
Founded in 1998, LAB Information Technology was formed with the vision to provide customer-centric information technology solutions. 

The company’s first business was providing the IT consulting services installing UNIX Servers. LAB became a service provider for many clients providing mission-critical technology consultants for sub-contracting projects nationwide.

2000, LAB was certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by City of Chicago and the State of Illinois.  In October 2000, LAB was certified United Nations World Bank Consultants.  Throughout the subsequent years, LAB has grown and developed by acquiring a broad array of skills, equipment and manpower required to successfully deliver quality technology solutions in the increasing competitive market place.

2002, LAB acquired off-shore development of a network-based digital video recorder (DVR) surveillance system, a more robust and cost-effective solution for the replacement of VCR-based CCTV surveillance systems.  Today, LAB surveillance systems have grown to a complete security surveillance platform monitoring both surveillance cameras and security devices.

2003 LAB acquired a high-grade computing facility and managed service partnership to provide Tier I, II, and III level datacenter hosting for Internet based services.  Later that year LAB became an allied member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) and Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association (IHLA) assisting member hotels with technology and security consulting.

2004 LAB expanded its international security surveillance business by opening a location in ACCRA, GHANA Africa. The division focuses on delivering security surveillance solutions to clients in West Africa region.

2005 LAB was certified Small Business Administration 8(a) and Small Disadvantage Business.  In January 2006 LAB received government GSA Contract Schedule 70 for special item number 132-51 IT Professional Services. Since receiving the GSA Schedule 70 contract LAB has provided service for federal agencies such as Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI),  U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Parks Service, and the U.S. Department of the Army.

2007 LAB expanded its government GSA Contract Schedule 70 by adding the special item number 132-52 Electronic Commerce Services offering hosting and managed services for Internet based applications. 

2009 LAB began offering fully integrated security surveillance solutions and services.  This includes the integration of biometric access control systems, remote system control and surveillance.  Call today to schedule a remote demonstration presentations.
